Review your photos with a swipe
PhotoSwipe offers a photo-by-photo keep-or-remove workflow. Use it when you want to review a period of your library rather than just search for duplicates.
Choose a manageable period
Start with a month you remember rather than your whole library. That context helps distinguish a throwaway reference from a photo you meant to keep. A short session is useful even if you only make a few confident decisions.
Keep uncertainty out of the removal list
Review the photo and use the labeled keep/remove controls in the app. Keep uncertain photos and revisit them later. Before the final deletion confirmation, review what you selected; a quick gesture should not replace that final check.
Swiping and similarity solve different jobs
A similarity group is useful for near-repeat shots. Photo-by-photo review can also catch unrelated clutter, including isolated blurry photos and old references. Neither is a reliable judge of sentimental value. Choose the method that matches what you want to review.
Continue when you are ready
The native app handles photo-library review. The website planner can help you choose a short task but does not transfer photos, access the camera roll or automatically start a deletion. App free allowances and subscription offers should be checked in the current app before purchase.
Good to know
Is a swipe a storage-saving guarantee?
No. Your result depends on the files you choose and whether the originals are actually removed after review.
